This series focus on the landscape of the Atacama Desert in Chile, which surrounds the copper-mining activity, superposed with lists of workers and their ID numbers. These lists were found in the abandoned houses of Chuquicamata, a mining-town now buried under rocks.
The sense of magnificence of the arid nature and the vulnerability of the human bodies wondering inside, drives the viewer to see them as part of something out of their usual scale, and at the same time, completely isolated.
